No. Metadata extracted from received photos is stored in Amazon Storage. Personal data of clients is stored within businesses` and they should comply with GDPR regulation.
You receive an API key to activate your account and enable operating with requests. With the API key, you also would be able to send requests to Auther Check from Auther Embedded kit devices.
Users add their data - images - through the API or enrollment interface (for example, Messenger or mobile application). With that interface the customer simply takes a selfie and uploads it into the Auther Check service. Then the person could be identified immediately.
Person ID is a unique identification number for a person 's face, which assigns by clients to the uploaded image of specific person.

Intel RealSense is a special 3D camera with ability to do liveness check and 3D scanning of the person's face. Other cameras won't be able to maintain facial recognition properly.
The technical characteristics of Up Board computers fit the requirements of Auther 3D scaner software. Therefore, the Auther Embedded kit is a complete hardware product, so there is no need for extra testing, modifications and updates.
Without connection to the Auther Check, Auther Embedded kit won`t be able to recognize users` faces at all. Auther Check service receives the person`s image from Auther Embedded kit, sends it for recognition to Amazon service and if images match, Auther Embedded kit gets a signal that the person get recognized.
Users are registering in the enrollment interface by uploading their photo. The photo is sent to and processed by Amazon Rekognition service. The biometric data from the picture is stored within the Amazon database, Auther receives only its unique Face ID number.
The free plan has no time limits. The plan will be active until you use the number of requests that are available in it. As soon as you use the limit, we will offer you to switch to a paid plan with a monthly payment and monthly limits.
The plan package includes software for working with 3D cameras (Auther Embedded kit), a request pool for working with Auther Check Service is included, a database for storing biometric data of users in Amazon is included.
This software is designed to work with a 3D Intel RealSense camera (part of Auther Embedded kit), which is designed to check liveness and protect against fraud.
You do not need to pay extra for each request. Each package includes a pool of prepaid requests. If you need more requests, change the plan or contact us.
Each plan has a limited number of user records in the database, a limit is indicated in the line "Number of users in DB". If you plan to store more user data than is suggested in the packages, contact us.
If you plan to fulfill more requests or want to install Auther Embedded kit in a larger number of your devices and the proposed plans do not meet your needs, please contact us.
At the moment, we support payment by credit or debit card using the Stripe payment acceptance service. If you need an invoice for the company, indicate the details when paying with a card. After registering an account, you can change the payment method in the Billing section.
